During Reading lessons, the following components will be used or seen:

– Reading to, by and with the children will occur

– Shared books are taken weekly

– Dailey readers sent home

– Guided reading taken daily using a group rotatioin

– Feed back feed forward books used by teachers to record notes and observations which are used to inform the ongoing lessons

– Independent reading occurs daily

– Regular buddy reading will occur


Supplementary learning/ additional support

– RT lit work working with 3 students twice weekly

– TARP (Tape Assisted Reading Programme)

– Study ladder
